Supplies needed: 3 file folders (need to have scored lines at the bottom - mine are from the dollar store), paper trimmer, paper and embellishments to decorate.
Tutorial: (click on the pictures to enlarge and better see the steps) Step 1: Take out a file folder (you need one with scored lines near the fold). Step 2: Open the folder - fold the bottom up roughly 4". Step 3: Fold your folder on the outside scored creased to create a spine. (if your folder doesn't have scored lines - create a spine roughly 1") Step 4: Put your folder into the trimmer and trim at 6" from the outside creases on both sides. This leaves you with a book that is roughly 7 3/4" tall by 6" wide. Step 5: Now you are left with the base of your book - adhere the sides of the folded piece and along the spine to create pockets. Punch holes in the spine (mine are roughly 1" in from the top and bottom) Step 6: Take your other two folders and cut two pieces that are 7 x 11. (with the center on the fold). Step 7: Layer the two 7x11 pieces and punch holes that match the holes in your book's spine. Step 8: Thread a piece of ribbon through the pages and the spine to hold them in place. Tie on the outside of the book.

Great tutorial and cute mini! Thank you!
Thanks so much for sharing!
Very cute, love how you have enough space for thick embellishments. Where did you buy your Fiskars trimmer, I am looking for one that cuts chipboard, but no luck at the craft stores.
